His familiarity with Marshall Arts dates back to years before the 1978 Iranian Revolution through the 1975-76 Marshall Arts movies.  His interest led him to Master Reza Shaeni’s dojo where he practiced Karate for 2 years.

In 1979 he started practicing Judo under Master Mohammad-Ali Esaie, father of Guilan’s Judo. Until 2005, he was continuously involved with all aspects of practicing and teaching Judo for 26 years.  He has been a pioneer of Judo in Guilan State .  He has International 4th Dan in Judo.  He is a First Grade certified trainer of Judo from the Iran Judo Federation and is a First Grade Judo referee.

Master Bahram Jafari-Pour lived in Germany for 1 year where he taught Judo.

Throughout these years, beside Judo, Master Jafari-Pour has been practicing and teaching Razm-Iran, the Iranian Marshall Art, under Master Bahram Rasooli’s supervision who holds a 10th Dan in Razm-Iran. He acquired a 6th Dan in this field under Master Rasooli’s direction.  As a student of Master Rasooli, he not only learned different techniques of Ramz-Iran but was also taught lessons in humanity, kindness, modesty and living honorably.  Master Jafari-Pour successfully received the first class certification for training Razm-Iran from the Iranian Marshall Arts Federation.

Through research, practice, study of different publication and his interest in the art of personal defense he became fascinated by AiKiDo.  He started learning AiKiDo in 2001 and his 32 years of experience in practicing and training Marshall Arts and specifically Judo facilitated his learning process and greatly assisted him in achieving a 2nd Dan International in AiKiDo.  He has been trained under Shihan Ahmad Ali Agh-Saghloo director of Iran AiKiDo Federation and official representative of Japan Aikido, Master Kasuda-Dan 6, Master Tano Chi-Dan 4, Master Homma-Dan 10, Master Kanasava-Dan 6,  Shihan Kubayashi-Dan 8 and Shihan Aray-Dan 7.
